Metallwerk Dinslaken is one of the most important and largest recycling companies for zinc scrap in Europe.

With the remelting and recycling of zinc, all by-products that ensue are fed back into the material cycle. We are thus able to conserve valuable resources and provide an important contribution to the protection of our environment.

As a processor of zinc scrap and further source materials, we are particularly interested in the following materials:

Zinc scrap:

• Old zinc scrap (zinc sheet from roofing and facade cladding, guttering and downpipes)
• New zinc scrap from clippings from the manufacture and processing of sheeting and other formats

(Secondary) raw materials produced during zinc die-casting (recycled material):

• Sprues, cells, foam blocks, remainders from surplus production, etc.   

Further zinc scrap:

• Skimmings, hard spelter and processing residues
• Diverse zinc qualities in all formats

Purchasing is carried out on the basis of current specifications laid down by the Verband Deutscher Metallhändler (Association of German Metal Traders, VDM).
